Crayon marks

Did you know most crayon marks can be removed from painted walls by dipping a wet cloth in baking soda and rubbing gently. Now if your little artist colors on the fireplace or hearth, you’ll need to make a trip to the art supply store and get an art-gum eraser. You knead it until it is pliable, press it against the marks and pull them off. Just keep kneading, pressing and pulling until they are all gone.
