The Kitchen Calendar
The most important item in my kitchen is the�Kitchen Calendar�. Make sure you get one with large enough grids to write in stuff. In November, I go through my current calendar and copy the dates of birthdays, anniversaries, etc. onto the new calendar. I hang it behind the current calendar because I usually have my work schedules and various medical appointments for myself and my Mom and my husband. My children no longer live at home but when they did they knew that anything and everything that was important to them or the family had to go on the “Kitchen Calendar� or it was not going to happen. I use one color Sharpie for birthdays and stuff, another color to mark the days I work, and anything handy to write appointments. I still jot down my children’s’ appointments and schedules in case I am looking for them or trying to plan something.
